👥 About the Legal Team
The Legal Team at A&M plays a critical role in protecting the firm’s integrity. As a Conflict Analyst, you will be at the center of conflicts of interest checks, supporting attorneys and business leaders globally.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy legal research, compliance, database analysis, and stakeholder communication.
🔑 Key Responsibilities – What You Will Do
As a Conflict Analyst, you will:
- Conduct accurate and timely conflict searches for new and existing clients
- Perform database searches related to parties, engagements, and matters
- Review, compile, and filter data to identify potential conflicts of interest
- Maintain and update the conflicts database with high accuracy
- Manage daily matter updates by adding new parties and changes
- Vet all incoming requests including new business, reopened matters, and preliminary checks
- Communicate with attorneys and business representatives via email, phone, or in person
- Handle urgent and time-sensitive requests without compromising quality
- Work occasional after-hours, weekend, or rotational on-call remote shifts
🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required
- 0–3 years of experience in a legal or law-related environment
- Conflicts analysis experience is a strong plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Customer-service mindset with responsiveness to legal teams
- Knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, and Excel
- Strong understanding of Boolean search techniques
- Awareness of ABA ethics and conflict-of-interest compliance
