₹11 LAKH FAKE GOVERNMENT JOB SCAM EXPOSED | CRIME BRANCH FILES CHARGE SHEET
Budgam, Dec 18 (KNC):
In a major shock for job seekers, the Crime Branch Kashmir (EOW) has busted a ₹11 lakh fake government job racket in Kashmir. The Economic Offences Wing has filed a charge sheet against two accused for cheating and criminal conspiracy in a high-profile employment fraud case.
🔴 WHAT HAPPENED?
A complainant was allegedly duped of ₹11,00,000 after being promised a government job.
The accused claimed the job would be arranged through personal connections.
Despite repeated assurances, no job was provided and the money was not returned.
⚖️ LEGAL ACTION TAKEN
The charge sheet has been filed under Sections 420 (Cheating) and 120-B (Criminal Conspiracy) of IPC.
The case has been presented before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Budgam for judicial determination.
FIR registered as FIR No. 08/2024 at Police Station EOW Kashmir (Crime Branch).

Mst. Ishrat Bano, daughter of Mohd Ayoub Bhat, resident of Zirhama, Kupwara.
Gulzar Ahmad Wani @ Shahid, son of Shamas Din Wani, resident of Zirhama/Liderwan, Kupwara.

The cheated amount was transferred to the bank account of Gulzar Ahmad Wani @ Shahid.
Investigation revealed no husband-wife relationship between the two accused, exposing a well-planned conspiracy.
The probe confirmed fraudulent intent and organised cheating under the guise of providing government employment.
