🛡️ Your Role – Security Engineer III
Location: Work from Home Friendly (Remote/Hybrid Options Available)
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Experience: 5–8 years in cybersecurity
We’re looking for an expert-level Security Engineer III who lives and breathes threat detection, enjoys investigating alerts, and is passionate about building custom detection content. If you understand MITRE ATT&CK, craft killer SPL/KQL queries, and want to play a meaningful role in an industry-leading team—this is your breakout opportunity.
🎯 What You’ll Do
- Investigate and validate alerts from EDR & SIEM tools like Splunk, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, etc.
- Build custom rules, improve detection logic, and generate actionable IOCs/IOAs.
- Develop clear SOPs for SOC analysts and enhance overall detection processes.
- Collaborate across global teams to drive platform efficiency and scalability.
- Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior team members.
- Work autonomously in a project-based and agile environment.
🧠 What You Bring
Must-Have Skills:
✅ 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or threat detection
✅ Proficient in SIEM/EDR tools (Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, XDR, etc.)
✅ Strong in SPL, KQL or similar query languages
✅ Experience with log sources – firewalls, OS, proxies
✅ Fluent communication in both technical and non-technical contexts
✅ Exposure to GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
Bonus Points For:
⭐ OSCP, CISSP, or equivalent certifications
⭐ Parser building & custom log processing
⭐ DevSecOps experience
