The University of Jammu has extended the deadline for applying to the contractual teaching positions for the academic session 2025–26. Applications are invited for the posts of Assistant Professors and Teaching Assistants on a contract basis in various departments at the Main Campus, Offsite Campuses, and University Institutes.

Offsite campuses include:

• Bhaderwah, Kathua, Kishtwar, Ramnagar, Reasi, Poonch, Udhampur, UIET (Engineering streams & MBA).

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) in the relevant subject.
• Preference will be given to candidates with NET/SET/Ph.D. as per UGC norms.

Age Limit:

• As per UGC guidelines.

Salary:

• As per University of Jammu norms.
