Job Description
Finzly is hiring an experienced Production Support Analyst – Payments to support critical financial applications and high-volume payment systems. The role involves system monitoring, incident resolution, payment troubleshooting, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor payment applications and batch processes.
- Resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.
- Support Fedwire, FedNow, and RTP payment systems.
- Investigate failed transactions and reconciliation issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and prepare incident reports.
- Use Unix/Linux commands and SQL queries for troubleshooting.
- Analyse application logs and monitor scheduled jobs.
- Support releases, smoke testing, and post-deployment checks.
- Manage incident tickets using Jira or similar tools.
- Coordinate with clients, developers, and QA teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 6+ years of production support experience in financial or payment systems.
- Knowledge of US payment systems, including Fedwire, RTP, and FedNow.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, SQL, and log analysis.
- Experience in incident and problem management.
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing tools.
Preferred: Real-time payment processing, payment message standards, banking compliance, and ITIL knowledge.
