The selected candidate will work under the RESPOND Scheme of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the project titled:

“Stable Isotopic Investigation of Surface Water Bodies for Hydrological Flux Partitioning Applications”

The project focuses on understanding hydrological processes using advanced isotopic and geospatial techniques, contributing directly to national-level scientific objectives.

  • Extension: Extendable & co-terminus with project
  • Monthly Emoluments:
    • ₹31,000/- per month
      • HRA as per norms

🎓 Essential Qualifications

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) with minimum 60% marks in:
    • Geoinformatics
    • Meteorology
    • Climate Change
    • or closely related disciplines

⭐ Desirable Skills & Experience (Big Advantage!)

Candidates with any of the following will be highly preferred:

  • Research experience in:
    • Geoinformatics
    • Limnology
    • Hydrology
    • Geospatial / Hydrological Modelling
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • GIS & Remote Sensing tools
    • Data analysis & interpretation
  • Publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Prior project or field research exposure
