A possible earthquake was felt in parts of northern Pakistan and Kashmir, India on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at around 12:19 PM local time (GMT +5). The tremors were reported about 23 km south of Tordher, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
People in Muzaffarabad (Azad Jammu and Kashmir) and surrounding areas also reported feeling the ground shake. Reports have now confirmed that the tremors were also felt in Kashmir, India.
So far, there is no confirmed information about the earthquake’s strength or depth. Experts are still reviewing the data. It’s possible this event was caused by seismic activity, but official confirmation is still pending from seismic monitoring agencies.
