National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), a renowned Institute of National Importance, invites applications for the position of Nursing Officer at Level 7 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC, with pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 and Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- (Group–B) for NIMHANS Bengaluru.

Job Details:

  • Name of the post: Nursing Officer
    • Number of Posts: 161 Posts
    • Reservation: SC-26, ST-10, OBC-39, UR-70, EWS-16
    • Special Reservations: 4% reservations for PwBD candidates for Nursing Officer Posts who can handle patient care.

Educational Qualification:

B.Sc. (Hon) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/University. OR i. B.Sc.(Post Certificate)/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC recognized Institute/University. ii. Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council.

Experience: Two Years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification as mentioned above.

Upper Age limit: 35 years

Important Notes:

    • *Includes Backlog and future vacancies.
    • Experience will be calculated only from the Date of Nursing Council Registration (Any State) and any experience prior to Nursing Council Registration will not be considered.
    • Any Corrigendum / Addendum / Modification, Etc. in the Notification will be made available on the Institute’s Website (Only). No further News Paper Advertisement / Notification will be published in this regard.
    • The prescribed application processing fee (including 18% GST) of Rs. 1180/- (Rs. 885/- for SC/ST candidates) shall be paid through the Institute’s website.
    • PwBD Candidates with 40% or more benchmark disability are exempt from the application/processing fee.

    • Online date for registration of application: From 18.10.2023 to 18.11.2023.
    • Cut-off Date: For Calculation of Age, Experience, etc. will be 18.11.2023.
    • Eligibility Test Details: Date, Time & Place will be Notified on the Institute Website.

    • Image guidelines for photos and signatures must be followed.
