In terms of S.0-364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020, applications on plain paper are invited from all eligible candidates (Domicile of UT of J&K) for engagement as Professors, Associate Professors (initially for a period of three years) and Assistant Professors (initially for a period of one year) on academic arrangement basis, extendable up to a maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection/promotion is made in accordance with recruitment rules governing the respective posts, whichever is earlier.

- Date of Birth Proof (10th Marks card/10th Diploma/Municipal Council).
- MBBS Degree and MCI/State Medical Council Registration certificate.
- Post-Graduation Degree and MCI/State Medical Council Registration certificate.
- MBBS/MD/MS Attempt Certificate and MBBS Internship Completion Certificate.
- MBBS Marks Card All Profs. 1st to Final.
- Teaching Experience as per G.O. Order No.: – 282-JK(HME) of 2023 Dated: 04.04.2023.
- Research Publications, Participation with Oral Presentation, Participation with Poster Presentation of Papers, Credit for writing a Book or Chapter as per G.O. Order No.:- 282-JK(HME) of 2023 Dated: 04.04.2023.
- Gold Medal for overall first position in MBBS/BDS.
- Higher Qualification Certificate (DM/MCH/DNB Super Speciality).
- Affidavit duly attested from 1st class Magistrate stating that the applicant is not in active Govt. Services (In original).
- Category Certificate, If any.
- Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K.
- Any other document, if required by the selection committee during the process of recruitment.

Salary: The salary shall be paid as per criteria mentioned in S.0-364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020. The appointment against the advertised posts shall and shall always be on academic arrangement basis only without conferment of any preferential right on the appointee for regular appointment against these posts, which shall be made strictly in accordance with the relevant recruitment rules.
Candidates may note that their candidature will remain provisional till the genuineness of their documents relating to educational qualification is verified by the Appointing Authority. The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification and certificates to satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post. If the documents submitted by the candidates are not found substantiated or correct by the committee at any point of time, the candidature will be cancelled, Criminal Proceedings under law shall be initiated, or any other action as may be deemed appropriate by the committee, shall be taken.
In case of any dispute, the decision of Chairperson of the Selection Committee shall be final.
