The Opportunity:
As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will be a key member of our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team, contributing to our vision of being the premier CFO advisory practice. Our FAAS Finance Optimization team focuses on delivering value through six main pillars: Finance Vision & Strategy, Finance Operating Model Transformation, Finance Process Optimization, Finance Performance Management & Analytics, Finance Integration & Transaction Support, and Data Analytics & Decision Support. Join us in enhancing the role of CFOs and the Finance function by automating and streamlining reporting, control, and compliance functions. With substantial investments in technology, knowledge, and learning resources, you will be part of a team delivering purpose-fit financial optimization advisory services to clients and stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities:
As a Functional Consultant, you will apply process analysis skills, Microsoft Dynamics Finance knowledge, and business consulting expertise to configure and implement proven solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into capabilities, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Identify and creatively solve complex client problems, leveraging Dynamics capabilities.
- Elicit, analyze, and validate business needs through requirements gathering workshops.
- Provide product demonstrations and articulate the unique value of Microsoft Dynamics Finance.
- Utilize financial process knowledge for pre-implementation consulting engagements.
- Translate conceptual requirements into functional specifications comprehensible to developers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise in D365 Finance solution or equivalent.
- Microsoft Dynamics D365 Functional Certifications highly desirable.
- Minimum 1 – 5 years of Microsoft D365 Finance (or equivalent) experience.
- Full cycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (or equivalent) implementation experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.
- CPA or equivalent (completed or in progress) would be an asset.
