The Government today issued school timing schedule for the summer zone areas of Jammu Division.
As per an order issued today, “All the Government as well as Private (Recognized) schools up to Higher Secondary level falling in summer zones of Jammu Division shall observe school timing from 9 am to 3 pm within Municipal Limits and from 10 am to 4 pm in rural areas w.e.f 01/10/2020 to 30/04/2021.”
However, the order stated that ‘the guideline and instructions on lockdown measures endorsed vide No. DSEJ/PS/25-35 dated 17-09-2020 shall continue to be followed till further orders.’

The last date for submission of Assignment, eligible to appear in TEE December 2020 i.e. registered in January 2020 Session (Annual Programmes) & Jul 2020 Session (Six months Semester based Programmes), is extended from the present date ie. 30.09.2020 to 31.10.2020 for December 2020 TEE, due to postponement of learner support service activities at all Regional Centers Learner Support Centers (LSC) across the country, as a preventive measures to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID *19). The assignment will be accepted/submitted on the same pattern as done for June-2020 TEE. through Online & Offline mode, as per the Circular already issued by the Regional Service Division vide their letter no. IG/RSD/Circular/2O2O/2883 on 13/03/2020.

All the Regional Directors arc requested to display this information on their Website and Notice Boards of the Regional Centres. RCs shall also write to respective Study Centres to display the information on the Notice Boards as well as announce in the Counseling Sessions.
