As a Workday IT Specialist for HR and Finance Modules, you will play a critical role in configuring, supporting, and optimizing Workday solutions across HR and Finance. You’ll collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to drive system excellence, process automation, and continuous improvement.
This is more than support — it’s about owning Workday end-to-end, influencing decisions, and delivering real business value.
🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
- Configure, maintain, and support Workday HR & Finance modules, including:
Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Financial Accounting, Procurement, and Expenses - Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and vendors to gather requirements and design scalable solutions
- Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations with internal and external systems
- Work on EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, and third-party middleware
- Develop and maintain system documentation, configurations, and process flows
- Provide end-user training and ongoing support to HR and Finance teams
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with internal policies and regulations
- Support Workday release management, testing new features and coordinating updates
- Lead or support full-cycle Workday implementations and major module rollouts
- Create advanced reports, calculated fields, and dashboards for business insights
🎯 What Makes You a Great Fit (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HR & Finance modules
- Strong expertise in:
- Workday configuration
- Advanced reporting & calculated fields
- Integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors)
- Proven experience with full-cycle Workday implementations
- Solid understanding of HR & Finance processes (hire to retire, GL, procurement, expenses)
- Experience with data migration, validation, and system testing
- Knowledge of Workday security, business process frameworks, and audit controls
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Workday certifications (preferred, not mandatory)
