University of Jammu, Department of Chemistry: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for 01 (one) position of Project Assistant in the project sanctioned by the Jammu and Kashmir Science, Technology and Innovation council (UT of J&K). The position is for a period of one year and co-terminus with the project.

Job Details:

• Name of the Post: Project Assistant
  • Name of the project: Fabrication, Characterization of modified graphene based nanocatalysts and investigation of their catalytic potential in organic transformations
  • Duration of the project 12 months
  • Emoluments of the Project Assistant Rs. 10,000/- per month
  • Qualification: M.Sc (Chemistry) with 60% or above marks

Important Instructions:

1. Eligibility: M.Sc. (Chemistry) with minimum of 60% marks and a good academic record.
2. Application should be accompanied by the photocopies of the qualification /experience certificates.
3. Age Limit: The upper age limit for project assistant shall be 28 years as on the day on which the applications are made. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes. women, physically handicapped and OBC applicants.
4. Interview: Eligible candidates will be informed about the date and venue of interview telephonically/through email. All applicants are required to bring their original documents on the date of interview. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview. No separate interview letters will be issued. The rules and regulations laid by JK-DST will be adhered to.
5. Last date of submission of application: 15 days from the date of publishing this advertisement in the newspaper.
