Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Project Assistant to study the role of replicative DNA polymerases in preserving the genomic stability in “Saccharomyces cerevisiae”. The successful candidate will employ a combination of biochemical and genetic approaches to understand how DNA polymerases function at the replication fork by sensing replication fork barriers.
