This recruitment aims to fill vacant positions of Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsels (Chief LADC) and Deputy Legal Aid Defense Counsels (Deputy LADC) across 20 districts in the Union Territory of J&K.

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a practicing lawyer with verified Bar experience.

• Certificate of actual practice from District & Sessions Judge is mandatory.

• Only candidates meeting qualification standards as per Annexure A-3 should apply.

• Candidates previously disqualified or whose contracts were not extended need not apply.

💸 Engagement Terms:

• Monthly Honorarium basis.

• 1-year term, extendable by another year based on performance and availability of funds.
