Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag invites online applications from eligible candidates domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for the tenure posts of Senior Residents / Tutors in the following departments:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
  MBBS with MD/MS/DNB/MSc in relevant specialty from a recognized institution.
• Registration:
  MCI/J&K Medical Council registration for MBBS and MD/MS/DNB.
• Age Limit:
  Maximum age: 45 years as on 01.06.2025.
• Domicile:
  Must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir.

Engagement Terms:

• Engagement will be on Academic Arrangement basis under S.O-364 of 2020, initially for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
• In-service candidates will receive salary as per LPC.
• Not-in-service candidates will receive stipend as per rules.

Selection Process:

• Written Test: MCQ-based exam.
• Selection strictly based on performance in the written test as per Govt. Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024.

   • Rs. 500/- non-refundable demand draft in favour of Principal, GMC Anantnag, payable at Collection Counter, Anantnag.
   • Send to: Office of the Registrar Academics, GMC Anantnag by or before 01.06.2025.

• All Mark Sheets (MBBS, PG)
• Date of Birth Certificate

• FMG Screening Certificate (if applicable)
• NOC (for in-service candidates)

Important Notes:

• Incomplete applications or missing documents will be rejected.
• Each post requires a separate application with fee.
• Final selection is subject to verification of documents.
• A waiting list will be maintained for 3 months after selection.
• Any false declaration will lead to cancellation of candidature.
