Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) are hiring candidates for the following posts:-

Job Details:

  • Name of Post: Group D (Pointsman, Assistant, Track Maintainer, and other positions)
  • Total Posts: 32,438

Job Details

  1. Qualification:
    • Candidates must possess Matriculation (Class 10th) or ITI Certification in a relevant trade from a recognized institution.
  2. Age Limit (as of 22nd February 2025):
    • Minimum Age: 18 years
    • Maximum Age: 33 years
  3. Pay Scale:
    • Pay as per Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

  • Correction Window for Applications: 25th February to 6th March 2025

Selection Process

The selection will consist of the following stages:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
    • A single-stage CBT will be conducted.
    • Marks will be normalized for multi-session exams.
    • Negative marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
    • Qualifying in CBT is mandatory for appearing in PET.
    • Candidates will be shortlisted at a ratio of 3:1 based on merit in CBT.
  3. Document Verification and Medical Examination:
    • Candidates clearing PET will undergo document verification and medical tests.
