Cancellation of selection of the candidate for the post of “Village Level Worker” – JKSSB

Subject: Cancellation of selection of the candidate for the post of “Village Level Worker” ( Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Department), District Cadre Baramulla, in pursuance to the advertisement Notification No.(04 of 2017 dated 28-11-2017) under item No.075, under Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Special Package for Kashmiri Migrants.

• Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board issued the selection list of the candidate for the post of “Village Level Worker” ( Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Department), District Cadre Baramulla, in pursuance to the advertisement Notification No.(04 of 2017 dated 28-11-2017) under item No.075, under Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Special Package for Kashmiri Migrants and recommended the same to the Intending Department vide this Office letter No.SSB/Secy/Sel/M/100/2019/2943-49 dated. 10-05- 2019 for further course of action; and
• Whereas, the selection of the candidate namely Sapna Sudan D/O Late Ashok Kumar Sudan R/O Block No 145 Flat No 2 Nagrota Jagti Jammu figuring at S.No. 01/SC was kept withheld subject to production of valid SC category certificate; and
• Whereas, the candidate has submitted an affidavit duly attested by the Sub­-Judge, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jammu on 30^th June 2020, which reveals that the aforesaid candidate inadvertantly applied under the category of Schedule Caste while the fact is that she belongs to Backward Class; and
• Whereas, the case of the candidate was placed in the 175th Board meeting wherein it was found that her claim is not genuine and supported by an valid proof of having requisite category certificate at relevant date.

Now, therefore, in view of the above position, the withheld selection of Sapna Sudan D/O Late Ashok Kumar Sudan R/O Block No 145 Flat No 2 Nagrota Jagti Jammu figuring at S.No. 01/SC for the post of “Village Level Worker” ( Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Department), District Cadre Baramulla, in pursuance to the advertisement Notification No.(04 of 2017 dated 28-11-2017) under item No.075, under Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Special Package for Kashmiri Migrants is hereby cancelled abinitio
