Applications from eligible candidates are invited for engagement as Forensic Consultant in Narcotics/Chemical & Toxicology Division in J&K Forensic Science Laboratory on contract basis:

Job Details:

• Name of the Post: Forensic Consultant
  • No. of Vacancies: 01
  • Qualification Required: Masters degree in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Pharmacology / Forensic Science with minimum 50% marks from any university recognized by the UGC.
  • Eligibility:
    1. The applicant should be domicile of J&K;
    2. The applicant should have qualified the Forensic Aptitude Calibre Test (FACTI FACT Plus);
    3. The age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years as on 01.01.2022

How to apply:

The applications on plain paper giving complete bio-data of the applicant along with self-attested copies of Qualification / Domicile / FACT / FACT Plus Qualified Certificates should reach the Directorate of FSL, J&K, Jammu / Srinagar within 03 days from the date of publication of this notice through official e-mail (dirfsljk@jkpolice.gov.in)

Terms & Conditions:

1. The period of contract will be only for one year or till the vacancy is filled up by regular appointment, whichever is earlier;
2. Remuneration will be paid @ Rs. 35000/- (Rupees Thirty-Five Thousand) only per month which will be inclusive of all allowances;
3. The performance will be evaluated periodically and in case of unsatisfactory performance / under performance, the contract shall be terminated without any prior notice;
4. The engaged candidate shall have no right to claim extension or regular appointment on the basis of contractual services rendered by him/her;
5. The engaged candidate shall have to give one month’s advance notice in case he/ she wants to leave the services before the completion of the contractual period;
6. The engaged candidate shall be bound to perform such duties within the Union Territory of J&K as are assigned to him/her by the department. However, he/she sha II be entitled to leave and travel allowances as applicable under rules;
7. The engaged candidate shall have to execute a contract agreement with the department before joining.
