Srinagar, Oct 09 :The Jammu and Kashmir administration headed by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday stated that 25000 vacancies in the Union Territory will be filled soon. The number includes 10000 jobs already advertised by the government.
In a tweet, the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha has said that the government is working on fulfilling the assurance given by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi about 50,000 jobs to the unemployed youth in Jammu and Kashmir.
“A Comprehensive Plan is in offing for filling up of 25,000 vacancies with 10,000 posts already advertised. The UT Government is also working on fulfilling the assurance of 50,000 jobs given by the Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi,” Sinha tweeted.
In his another tweet, Sinha stated that the recruitment rallies for Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), paramilitary forces and Jammu and Kashmir police shall also be conducted across the Union Territory.
“Central Armed Police Force, Paramilitary Forces and JKP recruitment rallies shall also be conducted across the UT. The Government is laying special focus on connectivity to every village and every household,” he further tweeted

The Jammu and Kashmir government is all set to recruit 1,700 doctors to strengthen the healthcare system, Lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha said on Wednesday.
“There is a shortage of paramedics and doctors in J-K. There are vacancies. We are going to start the recruitment of 1,700 doctors soon,” Sinha told an event organised as part of the “Back-to-Village-3″ campaign in Udhampur district”s Kud area.
“Since we are facing a pandemic and new lifestyle diseases, we have ensured universal life and health cover for all people in our villages…. we will deliver on this,” he added.
The Lt Governor appreciated the progress achieved by the district in the health sector and stressed on expediting the work on recently approved new medical colleges.
Summarising achievements of the “Back-to-Village” programme, the Lt Governor announced that 1.79 lakh beneficiaries have been linked with the Jammu & Kashmir Health Insurance Scheme, 65,000 farmers have been provided Kisan Credit Card, 1.55 lakh ration cards have been seeded with Aadhaar and more than 55,000 farmers have benefitted under PM KISAN initiative.
“It is heartening to know that school enrolment in the district has increased over the past years; three new colleges are coming up while four others are already operational. It should be our collective responsibility to reduce the school dropout rate in the district,” said the Lt Governor.

NOTICE
The Department of Tourism J&K invites offers from certified/ accredited “Snow Safety Officer” to head the Ski Patrol Team in Gulmarg for the winter season 2020-21 for a period of 03 months w. e. f. 01-01-2021. The Snow Safety Officer must be qualified in Avalanche Snow Studies (Level-2/3) and must have at least 03 years of experience of working as Snow Safety Officer/using explosives for triggering of avalanche.
The role of the Selected Officer (only one position is available) would be: –
To lead the Ski Patrol in a proactive manner and endeavour to ensure that no mishap takes place during the ski season.
To segregate the mountain areas into marked and unmarked zones.
Avalanche mitigation and controlled use of explosives for avalanche triggering.
To take a weather related call to close the upper mountains reaches for Skiing due to storms or perceived threats of avalanche and issue advisories/notices accordingly.
Evacuation of injured skiers and administration of First Aid.
Training of the local Ski Patrol Team.
To Develop Strategies pertinent to local conditions.
General advice to J&K State Cable Car Corporation and Tourism Department regarding operation of Ski Lift/Skiing.
To keep the resort open for the skiing for maximum number of days.
The Snow Safety Officer should submit the annual report of the resort after the completion of the contract.
