• Eligibility Criteria
  • Essential:
    • M.D. in appropriate branch of Medicine with atleast 60 % marks and atleast 01 year of experience post- PG. Or M.B.B.S. with atleast 60% marks including completion of compulsory rotatory internship followed by atleast 05 years of experience in a recognized hospital.
    • It is mandatory to produce conduct certificate from previous institution.
    • Proficiency in the use of computer office applications like M.S Word, Excel and Power-point or equivalent is must.
  • Desirable:
    • The work experience should be in a medical college or large government/ private hospital.
    • Work Profile:
      • Patient consultation and treatment.
      • Duties shall be allotted as per requirement of the Medical unit.

Educational Qualification:

1. Ph. D. degree and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
2. At least two successful Ph.D. guided as supervisor / Co-Supervisor and minimum 8 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.
3. Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching / research/ industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to that of Professor.

Salary: The consolidated salary shall be paid @ Rs. 60,000/- per month.

Note:

• The candidates including retired teachers who have not attained the age of 65 years as on 01.01.2021 can apply and he/ she shall be engaged only up to the age of 65 years.
• The engagement of Principal, UIET shall be initially for six months further extendable or till the fresh selection is made, which ever happens to be earlier.
• The consolidated salary shall be paid @ Rs. 60,000/- per month.
• The schedule of interview of the eligible candidates shall be communicated separately.
• In exceptional cases, the above qualifications and age limit can be relaxed.
