SourceU, an Australian accounting practice is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant for a remote, part-time position. The selected candidate will manage client accounts, prepare tax returns and financial statements, and support junior team members.
Some overlap with Australian business hours is required.

Qualification: CPA or CA qualified
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts and bookkeeping.
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns.
- Handle BAS and FBT returns.
- Assist with payroll, STP and superannuation.
- Support tax planning and year-end activities.
- Prepare budgets and cash flow reports.
- Provide accounting advice on complex transactions.
- Guide junior accounting staff.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and accounting standards.
- Experience with CGT, Division 7A and trusts.
- Knowledge of Xero, MYOB, QBO and TaxDome.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must hold CPA or CA qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of Australian accounting and tax experience.
- Public practice accounting experience.
- Experience with small and medium businesses.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work remotely and coordinate with Australian business hours.
