Six (6) Natural Beauty Tips for Women

Natural Beauty Tips for Women: If you did not know better, you might think that the secret to looking your best lies deep in a jar of expensive products. Not so.

Little things you do every day can do much, sometimes more, to “give your skin all the fuel it needs” to recharge, repair and withstand the daily stresses of life, says Doris Day, MD, Clinical Professor of Dermatology in New York University Medical Center Anguna .
Start the day with these six healthy habits that will keep you at your best.

  1. Natural Beauty Tips – Sleep on it:

    • All you have to do is check out the look after a night of rounds and rounds to figure out how much your skin needs to close eyes.
    • The study backs this up. A 2013 study in the journal Sleep found that people who were sleepless had swollen eyes, dark circles under the eyes, more wrinkles and drooping eyelids than well-rested people.
    • The culprit? The stress hormone cortisol.
      • “It’s at its lowest during sleep, so if you do not get enough sleep, your stress hormone cortisol levels rise and it causes collagen loss,” says dermatologist Amy Wechsler, MD, of The Mind-Beauty Connection. “You can see it even after one sleepless night.” Aim for 7.5 to 8 hours of eye closure each night.
  2. Sweat:

    • Talk about motivating yourself to move more: People over the age of 40 who exercise regularly have the skin of people half their age, according to a 2014 study at McMaster University in Ontario.
    • Even better, you do not have to run marathons or spend your life in a yoga class to reap the rewards. People in the study who exercised at a moderate pace – be it running or cycling for half an hour twice a week – also saw benefits.
    • The key? Stayed with it. Choose an activity you like (hiking with the dog, cycling with your kids) and then mark it on your calendar.
  3. Stick to the shady side of the street:

    • The sunscreen you wear every day helps, but do not rely on it alone. One thing, it diminishes as the day goes on.
    • To make sure you are completely protected from the sun’s UV rays, wear sunglasses, cover up and look for shade when you are outside, especially between 10:00 and 16:00. This is when UVB rays burn and cause cancer are at their highest intensity. We talk all year round, especially at high altitudes and on reflective surfaces like snow and ice, where you can get a double UV dose.
    • “There is nothing more aging than ultraviolet rays,” says Wechsler. “Over time they break down collagen, thinning the skin and creating more sun spots and blood vessels.”
  4. Stay moist:

    • Check out the ingredients of your favorite moisturizer, and chances are you will see one called “Hyaluronic Acid”. It is found naturally in your skin, and it is a moisture magnet, which holds the water you get from food and beverages, making your skin firmer and fuller.
    • But “if you are dehydrated, the water goes to your [other] organs instead,” Day says.
    • A quick trick to know if your skin is thirsty: pinch the back of your hand or lower arm. If your skin does not tear quickly, you are deficient in H2O.
    • Not a regular water lover? Fruits and vegetables that are naturally loaded with water – like cucumbers, cauliflower, tomatoes, grapefruit and celery – are equally effective.
  5. Less worry, more happy:

    • When you are stressed, cortisol – this known enemy – rises, makes a number of collagen and causes dry skin and wrinkles, says Wechsler. No wonder men in a 2013 study published in Biology Letters found that women with high levels of stress hormones are less attractive.
    • Meditation is a proven stress factor, but it is not the only one. Treat yourself to a massage or a money pad. Training also raises pressure. And you will handle it better if you rest well. Win-win!
  6. Exfoliate regularly:

    • Skin cells are constantly inverted, but as they get older, and depending on the environment, sometimes they need help to get rid of them completely. Give your skin relief and exfoliation once or twice a week.
    • Try Day’s natural DIY recipe: combine salt, sugar and enough honey and coconut oil to create an ointment. Make it thicker and coarser if you have oily skin, she says.
