The J&K Service Selection Board issued vide Advt. No. 04 of 2020 dated 16-12-2020 , Advt. No. 05 of 2020 dated 24-12-2020, Advt. No. 06 of 2020 dated 29-12- 2020 & Advt. 07 of 2020 dated 31-12-2020 invited online application from eligible candidates for participating in the selection process for District /Divisional ZUT Cadre of various departments for a total of 2814 posts. The Department wise number of posts referred and advertised by the Services Selection Board is as under:

The Board received various representations from the candidates for extension of last date of submission of online application. Subsequent to which, the last date for submission of online Application for Advt. No. 04 of 2020 dated 16-12-2020 , and Adv No. 05 of 2020 dated 24-12-2020, were extended upto 27-01- 2021 and 10-02-2021 respectively for the convenience of aspirants.
Till date, the J&K Service Selection Board has received a total of 222285 online applications for various posts for the Adv notice no. 04 of 2020 dated 16- 12-2020 and a total of 913 for the Adv Notice no.05 of 2020 and Adv Notice no.06 of 2020.
Whereas, the board is receiving grievances from the applicants pertaining to the filling of online Application including multiple Payment issues which are being resolved and addressed to, on day to day basis, for which a separate grievances cell and helpdesk has been made operational. The option of registering grievances regarding multiple payments is being activated in next few days on the portal, which will further enhance ease for applicants. In addition, helpline numbers as well as dedicated e-mail address have been provided on the official website of Services selection Board to resolve the problems reflected by the candidates, which are given as under:-
